What types of items do you sell?
We truly sell anything under the sun! General merchandise, retail items, home furnishings,
electronics, appliances, sporting goods, firearms, antiques, surplus, and freight salvage.
Are auctions at Atlanta Surplus and Auction Open to the public?
Yes. All of our auctions are open to the public. Anyone is welcome to attend!
How do I register to bid at Atlanta Surplus and Auction, and is there a charge?
We have a free and very simple one time registration process. All we need is basic
contact information and a valid state issued ID.
I have some pieces that I would like to sell. What is the first thing I should do?
If you want to consign any items with us, the first thing to do is give us a call, and tell
us what you have. We will gladly offer our assistance.
What type of payment does Atlanta Surplus and Auction accept?
Cash, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover. We Do Not Accept Checks.
How long do I have to pay for my purchases?
Once you have become the successful bidder at the auction, you must pay in full for all
purchases the day of the sale. THERE IS NO EXCEPTION TO THIS RULE!
Are there any fees in addition to my bid price?
Our Buyer's premium is 13% (3% cash discount). For example, if you purchased something
for $100, then your total would be $113. Please check the terms and conditions for each
auction for a fee schedule for that particular auction.
How long do I have to remove the items I have purchased?
All items MUST be removed within FOUR (4) days. Any items left over FOUR (4) days will be
assessed a $15 per item, per day storage fee. Atlanta Surplus and Auction LLC reserves
the right to sell items that are abandoned to recover storage fees.
Are auctions live or online?
Most auctions are live auctions. Occasionally we hold online auctions called Timed
Internet Auctions. This is an online only auction and items are offered for bid online
only. Unless otherwise noted in the auction information, the auctions are live only.

What if I see an item that I must buy, but I can't make it to the sale?
You can fill out an absentee bid form or bid online. Click on the following buttons:
I've never been to an Auction before. What do I do?
Hold up your bidder card and scream YEP or YEAH!
Should I preview before the sale?
We highly encourage previewing the lots we have for bid online anytime, and especially
in-house the day before the sale. Our auction floor is open to the public from
10am – 5pm the day before the sale.
Can I buy something off the floor?
No, we only sell at auction.
